Gujarat: On 06 & 07 July 2018, Shri K K Sharma, IPS, DG BSF along with BWWA President Smt Renu Sharma and Sh. Kamal Nayan Choubey, IPS, Spl DG(W) visited Frontier HQ BSF Gujarat. In the Frontier, they were welcomed by Sh. Ajay Kumar Tomar, IPS, IG BSF and other senior officers of FTR HQ BSF, Gandhinagar. During the visit, DG, BSF witnessed various programs organized by Frontier HQ BSF Gujarat. He discussed operational and training issues, modernization and border management aspects in detail with the senior Officers of the Frontier.
Shri K K Sharma, IPS, DG BSF addressed a Prahari Sammelan at Frontier HQ BSF, Gandhinagar. During the Sammelan, he praised the troops of Frontier BSF Gujarat for their excellent work in guarding the borders of nation. Sh K K Sharma, IPS, DG also apprised troops about the various welfare schemes being undertaken at FHQ level for their welfare, listened to the problems of troops and resolved the same.

Kamal Nayan Choubey, IPS, Spl DG(W), Sh Ajay Kumar Tomar, IPS, IG BSF FTR Gujarat, Smt. Sunaina Tomar, IAS, Principal Secretary of Education, Gujarat State, other senior Officers, SO’s and ORs of FTR Gujarat.
On 07/07/18, Smt Renu Sharma, BWWA president visited Ankur Play School and Indoor Air Rifle Range at Frontier Gujarat. She was apprised about the various welfare activities undertaken by the Frontier HQ Gujarat under the aegis of BWWA for the welfare of the families of troops. President BWWA addressed the BWWA members and she praised the team of Gujarat Frontier for their excellent work towards welfare of the BSF Families.
