Notorious inter-State Laptop thief arrested by Electronic city police stolen property worth Rs.35 lakhs recovered 39 cases solved.

The Electronic city police have arrested notorious inter-State thief and recovered 49 stolen laptops with 510 gram of gold ornaments and 9 mobiles worth of Rs.35 Lakhs.
The accused has been identified as Sudhakar 32 year old resident of Hosur.
The accused, Sudhakar, hails from Hosur in Tamil Nadu. He would come to the flower market in Madiwala to sell flowers. In his free time, he would scout neighbourhoods in the South East division by selling flowers and identify houses where the owners were out of town.After identifying the house he used to theft laptops,gold kept near windows or he will barge into the house from the back door and his main targets were IT company employees.
He used to theft only Dell and HP companies laptops only from the apartment and sell it into market.
In the last three months, he stole over 49 laptops and has been giving us sleepless nights to the victims and most of them were software engineers.
Addl CP East,Seemanth Kumar Singh told media persons that there were series of theft cases were registered by many IT company employees in southeast division,based on series of theft complaint,DCP Southeast,Dr.M.B.Boralingaiah, led a special team under the supervision of ACP Ramesh K.N,a team headed by Electroniccity Police Inspector Mallesh,visited all the crime spot and collected the information and they checked all the CCTV cameras and with this they got to know some other gang is operating in the area with different type of Modus Operandi and we have intensified the patrolling across city and one fine day our night patrolling constables found a person moving suspiciously they followed his movements and after getting more suspicious on his movements our team followed his movements during intercepting him they found one laptop in his bike in his possession and then the cop took him to station for enquiry and while questioning our team got suspicious on his statement and grilled him and then he spilled the beans that he has theft the laptop from the apartment and was heading towards Hosur and based on his confession to the crime we arrested him and produced him before the court and took him into custody for further interrogation and during interrogation he confessed the crime and based on his statement we have recovered 49 laptops and the accused has been identified as Sudhakar, a 32-year-old man who sold flowers during the day and moonlighted as a thief at night.A special team was formed to recover the laptop and based on his statement the team recovered 510 gram of gold ornaments,9 mobile phones and 49 stolen laptops,which he had sold in electronic shops in Hosur and Kanchipuram in Tamilnadu.there are many more laptops to be recovered from the accused we will recover all the laptops soon and we are returning the property to the victim who has lost it and many belongs to software company employees the rest will be handed over to them. With his arrest we have solved 30 cases reported in Electronic city,Parapana Agrahara-3 cases ,Bellandur Police Station-3cases and Marathahalli police Station -3cases totally we have detected 39 cases from him and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,T.Suneel Kumar,Addl CP East,Seemanth Kumar Singh,has appreciated,DCP Southeast,Dr.M.B.Boralingaiah, ACP Electronic city sub division,K.N.Ramesh,Electronic city PI, Mallesh M,and his team as, PSIs as,G.Nagaraju,Hanumanth Narali,Sanjeev Gurupagul,crime staff as,R.nagesh,Mahadevaiah, Nagesh, Narayanappa,Basangouda Rajapur,and other crime staff has successfully nabbed the notorious dreaded criminal and recovered stolen property worth Rs.35 lakhs from him a suitable reward will be given to them for nabbing this offender who has given sleepless nights to us and IT employees to make easy buck and leave lavish life he did this crime and now he is cooling his heels in the jail we appeal to bengalureans to take some precautions and stay safe he added.
