On occasion of Gurunanak Jayanthi Daler Mehndi will be shooting a video shoot of the song Baba Tera Naal Naal with daughter Rabaab and a group of kids today at F block Gurudwara,Vasant Vihar.
The song was the first duet with her daughter Rabaab Kaur Mehndi when she was a year old. Daler Mehndi always supports young talent to participate. The song has healing energies that shift the listener’s focus from their worries and empowers him/her to achieve the natural ‘carefree’ virtue of the soul.
About Daler Mehndi
He was born into a family of musicians who had been singing for seven generations. His early influences on music are his parents, who taught him the ragas and Shabad’s from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He has given his first stage performance in front of an audience of 20,000 at the age of 13 in Jaunpur. ‘Powerhouse Performer’, Mehndi’s high voltage performances, packaged with exquisite choreography and famous hook dance steps, create an atmosphere that is highly contagious.
