The 24 th Brahmasthanam Mohotsav celebration at Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Nerul (w), Navi
Mumbai began with a prayer note. The festival will be celebrated on 04 th and 5 th of March, Monday and
Tuesday respectively. Her Holiness Sri Mata Amritamandamayi Devi has reached Mumbai Ashram to
bless the occasion.
Amma was received at the ashram with traditional ‘Purna Kumbha’. Ashram trustees as well as Mr. Sunil
Kumar, Chairman, Goodwin Jewelers, garlanded Amma, at the ashram entrance. Brahmachari
Avayamrita Chaitanya, in-charge of MAM Mumbai, was leading the reception.
Swami Amritaswaroopananda Puri, Swami Jnanamritananda Puri, Swami Amritatmananda Puri and
Swamini Krishnamrita Prana, also accompanied and arrived with Amma.
The celebration will start with ‘Lalita Sahasranama Archana’, at 6:00 AM on Monday, 04 th of March. It
will be followed by Amma’s Pravachan, Dhayana session and Bhajans will be rendered. Amma’s darshan
and blessings will start from 11:00 AM onwards.
Brahmachari Avayamrita Chaitanya, elaborated the wide arrangements made in connection with the
celebration, which includes special puja arrangements, accommodation, food, drinking water and
medical facilities. Police, Paramilitary Force and Amrita Volunteers are actively participating for the
success of the festival. It is expected that, more than fifty thousand devotees will be arriving to attend
the celebration.
Dignitaries and VVIPs from cultural, social, political, business and academic background will be arriving
at the ashram to seek Amma’s blessings.
