Varun Bahl & Inaaya collaborate with The Overdressed to raise funds for the Festival of Hope Foundatio

The crème de la crème of Delhi was treated to an afternoon soiree that included all the elements of an unforgettable indulgence –Charity, Fashion, and Glamour. The event took Place at The Leela Palace, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

An evening was hosted by The Overdressed in association with the Festival Of Hope Foundation, to launch designer Varun Bahl’s Pret line. Jewellery designers, Inaaya by Deepa Mehra, showcased their latest collection of jewels at this fundraiser.

The event witnessed cancer survivors styled and dressed by Varun Bahl, as they wore the collection over fashion showing. The collection was complemented with beautiful jewellery by Inaaya by Deepa Mehra.

Shalini Vig Wadhwa said “I would like to thank The Overdressed, Varun Bahl  & Inaaya for supporting our foundation. With the auctions today we hope to support our under priviledged cancer patients. I appreciate this gesture by both Varun and Deepa Mehra. The models today are Cancer Survivors who continue to spread the message – There is Life beyond Cancer”.

Varun Bahl said “Its inspiring and a privilege to dress up Cancer Survivors and we couldn’t have had a better launch for our Pret line. We associated with Festival of Hope Foundation, as a way to give back to society. We look forward to hosting many such bespoke events with a serious message attached. It’s been my dream to have a prêt, ready-to-wear collection and I aim to reach out to a wider clientele with the same.

I started this line 30 years back on a very small scale as a hobby & for all the success & where we are today, we definitely owe it for a good cause and there couldn’t be anything better than associating with The Festival Of Hope Foundation”, quoted Deepa Mehra from Inaaya.

About Festival Of Hope Foundation….. 

Festival of Hope leverages the platform of art, fashion and music to create and spread awareness to prevent and detect early stages of cancer. The Foundation is supported by eminent personalities and achievers from all walks of life, bringing together “Leaders of Hope” who actively contribute by volunteering their time, money, and skills to make a difference.
