New Delhi, 16th August. Under the Membership Campaign initiated by BJP Delhi Pradesh, a Membership Camp was held at Shahdara Chowk under the Naveen Shahdara District today. Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari persuaded hundreds of people to join as Primary Members of the Party. During this process, there was a great rush of people to join BJP and for some time there was traffic jam. First time voters, women and people from poor sections joined the Party in large numbers. District Presidents Shri Kailash Jain, General Secretary Master Vinod Kumar, Vice President Shri Ashish Tiwari, Councilors Shri Ajay Sharma, Shri Puneet Sharma, Mandal President Shri Nawal Kishore, Shri Brahm Pal, Shri Dharmvir Nagar, BJP leaders Smt. Sandhya Dikshit, Shri Divya Jaiswal, Shri Sanjay Surjan alongwith Office bearers in this camp.
Addressing the newly enrolled Members, Shri Manoj Tiwari said that under the leadership of National President Shri Amit Shah, BJP has become the largest political party in the world and by abolishing Article 370, ending the Triple Talaq System, Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi has proved the leadership quality and capacity of the BJP workers in entire world. Following the policy of Antyodaya by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, the benefit of the schemes are not reaching to the last man in the queue.
Shri Manoj Tiwari also said that many parties enjoyed the fruits of power through politics even after decades of independence but BJP has always been in favor of welfare politics and whenever we got the opportunity BJP workers have proved that. He called upon the workers that they should be more sensitive to the society and become partners in their happiness and sorrows and play the role of bridge between the people and the public welfare policies of Central Government and become an ideal worker so that new dimensions are added to the party.
