On the auspicious occasion of Deepavali Shalimar Bagh residents celebrated Diwali festival of lamps in an unique way by organising a Ekta Camp in which all the residents and dignitaries took part.
Ekta camp of Deepotsav programme was celebrated under the leadership of BJP leader Sulekh Aggarwal, the convenor of the business cell of the Delhi Pradesh BJP and the President of the Indian Education and Sports Development Organization, took this iinitiative along with residents organized Deepotsav programme at the Ekta Camp Hyderpur Shalimar Bagh Assembly on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
In this Ekta camp of Deepotsav programme,Calligraphy Agarwal,along with the people of the area,collectively lighted the lamps and gave them to the people present and distributed sweets.
Aggarwal said that Deepawali is the festival of lamps and we pray to God that happiness and prosperity come out in everyone’s life.In this programme, corporation councilor Sudhir Thakur, corporation councilor Anju Jain,North Delhi Municipal Corporation House leader Tilakraj Kataria,Shalimar Bagh BJP in-charge Govind Sharma,BJP district president Roshan Lal Kansal,BJP leader Shakti Sonu,Shriram Lok Mandir Solan Himachal State’s Mahant Dr.Bharat Jha and hundreds of other distinguished guests of the society were also present!
The people present at the programme appreciated this unique initiative and effort of Sulekha Agarwal that Agarwal is doing a remarkable work, today, on the occasion of Deepavali, he is celebrating this festival of Deepavali with all sections of the society by emphasizing public participation he said at the event.
