Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodiya unwails “PARWAAZ – Ek Zakhmi Panchi Ki” at world book fair, Pragati Maidan

World Book Fair 2020 marked the launch of a poetry master piece “Parwaaz- ek zakhmi panchi ki” written and compiled by a 32 year old differently abled poet Mohit Chauhan. The event was presided over by the Dy. Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodia as the Chief Guest.
Mohit’s creation “Parwaaz” comprises of poetry on various themes that reflect life and unfolds all the emotions beautifully instilled in human nature by the creator.  While one part of the book beautifully incarnates the true and pure form of love, motivation, courage; the other part brings out the harsh reality of relationships in modern world, social stigmas, fear and sham. “My book is a little world of faith, optimism where there is never-ending morale, passion and where words like despair, negativity and impossible hold no existence”, said the poet.
The book unveiling was done by Mr. Manish Sisodia along with some of the distinguished personalities of Hindi literature, Dr. Prem Janmejai, Dr. Harish Naval, Dr. Sangeeta Sharma Adhikari, Mrs. Sunita Shanu and Mr. Rannvijay Rao who shared the stage with the Dy. Chief Minister during the entire course of event to discuss upon Mohit’s masterpiece and present their views.
“Despite being a minister who is thoroughly occupied in daily agendas of ministry and election time approaching by, I could not decline Mohit’s request to grace the book launch event as the chief guest when he visited me at my residence, I was in awe of his grit and was really inspired by his aura and words”, said the Dy. Chief Minister. He added, “Mohit is suffering from an incurable disease and I am truly inspired as to how nothing could devour Mohit’s grit and determination despite facing hardships of life and fighting daily struggles for last 32 years; he has chosen to live life and not be depressed about it; he has beautifully carved out this masterpiece and is adjudged to be a source of inspiration and motivation for all sections of the society who happen to stay disheartened and lose faith in life because of some or the other incidents. Mohit and his book inspire us to be highly optimistic, never lose hope and face every oddity with courage in our life; I wish him luck for future and a healthy life”.
Everyone present at the book launch was impressed by Mohit’s enthusiasm and overwhelmed hearing his poems as to how a person despite being bed ridden for 32 years in life can still be so lively and positive about living life.  Dr. Harish Nawal mentioned, “ Mohit is extremely blessed with talent, his writings are beautiful and he has very well captured all human emotions in his book”. Dr. Prem Janmejai further added, “This is just the beginning for Mohit, he has a really long way to go and he must be geared up to face critics as he climbs up the ladder; I wish him success for his future endeavours”. All the other great scholars of Hindi literature namely Dr. Sangeeta Sharma, Mrs. Sunita Shanu and Mr. Ranvijay Rao were also very impressed with Mohit Chauhan’s passion and wished him a bright future by giving him their blessings.
The entire crowd inundated in emotions and tears when Mohit recited one of his favourite creation titled “Maa” in dedication to his mother Mrs. Suman Chauhan who he considers as the epitome of his success today. The event was hosted by the very talented Chitra Chakraborty, who made the entire evening extremely beautiful and memorable. “We are indebted to Dr. Lalit Kishore Mandora for his valuable contribution and unconditional support during the book launch event and for making the event a huge success. I thank Mr. Manish Sisodia, all members of the discussion panel, my friends and family for their unstinted support in making this dream come true and for gracing the occasion today with their presence.”, said Mohit Chauhan.
The event was wrapped up by the poet himself in his lyrical style quoting and was immediately recieprocatee with an enthralling applause from the audience :
 “gaaliyon ka shor ek din taaliyon main badlega,
tere hauslo k aage pathar kya parvat bhi pighlega”.
