Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah today addressed big public meetings in Matiala, Uttam Nagar and Nangloi ACs in support of the BJP candidates for the upcoming Assembly Elections. In Uttam Nagar AC, Shri Amit Shah took out Padyatra and apprised the people about the welfare schemes of Central Government and also the failures of Aam Aadmi Party. West Delhi MP Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, Matiala BJP Candidate Shri Rajesh Gehlot, Uttam Nagar BJP Candidate Shri Krishna Gehlot and Nangloi BJP Candidate Smt. Suman Lata Shokeen were present in the programmes.
Addressing the massive public meeting, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah said that today we are launching the election campaign from here and hence all of you should make Shri Rajesh Gehlot victorious in Matiala AC. In these elections your vote will decide which party is going to form Government in Delhi. Your votes will also decide whether you want a Government like Modi ji which works for five years or a Government which stages Dharna/Demonstration. In this first public meeting, I want to assure that you give us an opportunity and we will make Delhi the best capital in the world.
Five years ago, the people reposed faith in Kejriwal’s Party but they forgot the promises made to the people. I have a list, AAP had promised to open 500 schools, 20 new colleges but not a single was opened. It promised to install 15 lakh CCTVs but could not do so. It had also promised to procure 5000 new DTC buses but it could not do so. AAP had also promised to give employment to 8 lakh youths but what to talk of their employment they could not regularize the services of the employees working on contract. The promise of free wi-fi was not fulfilled. Kejriwal’s Party was born out of the Jan Lokpal Movement but after coming to power, Kejriwal Government did nothing in this connection but Modi ji got the Bill on Lokpal passed in the Parliament.
Shri Amit Shah also said that AAP Government had also promised to open 15 new hospitals but not a single was opened, new flyovers are not seen anywhere. It had also promised to clean Yamuna and supply potable drinking water but the people are compelled to drink polluted water. Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi and the Chief Minister of UP have cleaned the Ganga and the new BJP Government of Delhi will certainly clean the Yamuna also. AAP had also promised to regularize 1731 unauthorized colonies but it delayed the process of regularization.
In view of the delaying tactics of Delhi Government the Central Government decided to survey these colonies and made a historic decision to provide ownership rights to more than 40 lakh people. Modi Ji has conferred ownership rights for which the people have paid only 5000 each. The way in which Modi Ji regularized the unauthorized colonies, the same way the Jhuggi Dwellers are also being given two room set flats. Central Government have already completed the survey of lakhs of Jhuggi-Jhodis.
AAP claims that it has given various freebees. The Central Government implemented Aayushman Bharat in the entire country under which crores of people have benefitted. This includes tests,hospitalization, operations, medicines and transportation back to home for which the Modi Government is giving Rs. 5 lakh each. More than 1 crore people have undergone surgical operation under this scheme but the people of Delhi have not benefitted because the CM has not implemented this scheme in Delhi. Kejriwal was afraid of the fact that if this scheme is implemented in Delhi then people will vote for Modi ji.

Shri Amit Shah further said that if BJP Government is formed in Delhi then Aayushman Bharat will be implemented under which good hospitals will provide treatment. There are 112 schemes of Central Government in Delhi but the AAP Government is hindrance in their implementation. Modi ji ensured the extension of Metro Rail, Meerut Expressway, approved urbanization of villages, started the work of sewerage in unauthorized colonies, toilets, dumping centers, schools, hospitals etc. This is the Kejriwal who had said four and half years ago said that Modi Ji does not allow him to work now he says that “Paanch Saal Khoob Kiya Kaam-Lage Raho Kejriwal.” I say that “Dilli ka Peecha Chhod do Kejriwal.” You have not won any election during the last five years including the Corporation and Loksabha Elections. He contested in Varanasi and lost, people rejected him in Haryana and Punjab. People have only once elected AAP and defeated every time after that. Modi Ji abolished Article 370 which gave special status to Kashmir and all the people of the country appreciated it. Since, the people again elected him with 303 seats and he fulfilled the promise of abolishing the Article 370 within 100 days. The opposition parties also opposed the construction of Ram Mandir but the Supreme Court in its decision made it clear that Ram Mandir will be constructed on the place where Lord Ram was born. When the police arrested the people raising anti national slogan and sought the permission to prosecute them then Kejriwal saved the Tukde-Tukde gang. Modi Government is working to grant citizenship to the refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who have suffered religious persecution. Aam Aadmi Party has no agenda and it is only creating confusion and provoking the people. Such people should not be allowed to remain in power in Delhi and the people are ready to dislodge this Government and form BJP Government in Delhi.
