Fit India ‘Mission 100’ by DG ITBP to undertake 100 KM speed march in Rajasthan

Sh SS Deswal, DG Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) begins a 100 KMs speed march with senior officers and many other ranks officials in Bikaner District’s Mehrasar to Jodhpur today. The route include more than 25 Kilometers desert and many other stretches including undulating terrains and off track routes.

The march aimed at ‘Fit India’ movement and to promote fitness among masses in general. Sh Deswal who is 58 years old, is well known for his long marches in the Himalayas and over a period of more than a year, he has undertaken dozens of long route and speed marches in the Himalayas and on seaside areas of the country. The earlier routes include Lipulekh Pass, Sangla Valley of 103 Kms, Auli Tapovan, Gangotri Tapovan besides many.

The march is aimed at spreading the ‘Fit India’ mission and to promote the youth to engaged in more physical exercises to remain fit.
