The North Division police of Bagalagunte police have opened fire on a 23-year-old rowdy sheeter who was wanted in murder case of a 24-year-old man and he even stabbed his younger brother over a trivial row on Monday evening near Sededahalli.
The accused has been identified as Prabhu a Rowdy sheeter, a resident of Sidedahalli in Bagalagunte.He was shot at his right leg in self defense by Bagalagunte police.
Sreekantegowda police sub-inspector and his team went to arrest the accused the sub inspector first opened one round fire in air and asked him to surrender but when the head constable Hanumegowda went to secure him the accused attacked the constable with knife and to evade arrest he tried attacking the police personnel again so the PSI Sreekantegowda in self defense opened one more round fire on his right leg the accused suffered bullet injuries and was arrested.
The incident took place on Wednesday near Acharya college.The police have nabbed the accused.
N Shashikumar,DCP,North Division,told reporters,In Bengaluru city North Division,Bagalagunte police station limits there was a murder on Monday evening at about 6 o clock.
Where in one person by name Karan Singh was allegedly killed by Prabhu and others in Sededahalli main road area.So they had lot of personnel differences and Arjun Singh who is brother of Karan Singh developed some quarrel with Prabhu.
When they were playing PUBG game followed by that there was a friction and arjun singh was stabbed and was admitted to hospital and this information has gone to karan sigh who along with some of his friends come to find out why Prabhu has stabbed his brother.
And in the process while speaking they both had a heat argument in which Prabhu suddenly stabbed him twice on the abdomen part and second on the chest portion and Karan Singh was lying on the road in the pool of blood and he died on the spot.
So in the process our team has been trying to secure Prabhu and other accused of the case and on may 6th morning at about 6:15 to 6:30 am two teams led by Venkategowda,police inspector Bagalagunte and Sreekantegowda acting on a credible information the team started searching the accused near Acharya college in under construction buildings.
All of a sudden, Prabhu came out and made an attempt to escape. During this time, a round of bullets was fired in the air. When Prabhu started attacking the police, they fired a round of bullets on his right leg. Following this, Prabhu was incapacitated and was taken into police custody.A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
Finally Bengaluru police commissioner,Bhaskar Rao,Addl CP West,Soumendu Mukherjee,has appreciated DCP,North,N Shashikumar and his team,as,venkategowda,PI,Bagalagunte,PSI,Sreekantegowda,HC,Hanumegowda and their whole team who has done a commendable job in nabbing the notorious rowdy sheeter and his associates he added.
