E-commerce venture of Reliance Industries, JioMart is live now. After testing for two weeks in various parts of the Maharashtra, now JioMart has officially launched across almost all the parts of our country. The mobile version is not available for now but it’s expected soon to be available, at present the web version is available for JioMart.
To buy Daily essential items or groceries from JioMart, first you guys have to check the availability of service in your area or not by entering your pin code. The availability in Delhi, Mumbai, Noida and Kolkata has been checked and the services in all the regions are available. In almost all the areas of the country the services are available and the rest remaining areas will get soon.
To purchase items from JioMart, on web browser you will head to jiomart.com and the page will appear. In JioMart there are offers calming that there will be 5 per cent below MRP to all products. This platform also claims that the products are directly sourced from the registered farmers. The company with the help of JioMart wants farmers to move online to sell their product and boost their business which was affected due to COVID-19. To sign up with JioMart you will just have to go to the official website and click on sign up and enter your mobile number then enter the OTP that you have received on your phone within the given period of time. After completing the process you can start shopping.
Although, JioMart being a new e-commerce platform for shopping, it also offers products of several categories such as dairy, fruits, snacks, staples, baby care, personal care and home care. Face mask is also available in JioMart, as this product is in high demand due to coronavirus pandemic disease.
Reliance partnered with Whatsapp, during the period of testing and generated a registered phone number for customers to order via JioMart. To make payments JioMart allows consumers to make payment through debit/credit card through almost all the banks, paytm, JioMoney, PhonePe, UPI, Mobilewiki. Cash on delivery option is also available as a lot of competitors disabled due to contactless delivery. No option is available for payment through Whatsapp or booking the order through Whatsapp.
