Humans have been deceiving themselves for thousands of years that they are smarter than the rest of the animal kingdom. Peradventure, they are not. How can one be intelligent and sensible if he minifies his own brothers and sisters who are differently Abled.
In this day and age, we often face people who are physically or mentally challenged since many encounter discrimination, they tend to alienate themselves from society as they feel unwanted is the worst that can happen to a person, whether it is because of mature’s foul play or as a result of an unexpected unfortunate accidents.
Merriam dictionary defines ‘disability’ as a physical or mental condition that limits a person’s movements, senses or activities perhaps, disability is the inability to see ability. The word disability itself says Don’t Induce someone’s ability. The only disability in life is a bad attitude.
In due course of time, history has witnessed some of the most outstanding apparent physical ability. It takes courage for an ordinary man to achieve for a person with disability to level the fame.
This is the high time, that we integrate them into our environment and also accept them as the important component of our society. Despite their handicap, we don’t realize how much they can inspire us. At the same time they need our reverence, honour and consideration. Ultimately, they want is kindness, as kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
“ People with disabilities have abilities too and that is what this course is all about- Making sure these abilities blossom and shine so that all the dreams they have can come true”.
Thankyou.
