Guwahati based Human Rights Activists and founder of Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Forum , Monojit Singha was on Saturday (17/10/2020) conferred with honorary doctorate degree from the Day spring Christian University, USA.
Mr. Singha was conferred the honorary doctorate degree for his outstanding contribution in the field of Human Rights and social service. He received the degree at the 17th convocation ceremony of the University held at Hyderabad today.After receiving the prestigious degree, Mr. Singha extended his gratitude to the university for recognizing his relentless social service for the 18 years.
“ I am extremely glad to receive this recognition. But more than that I am so happy to receive this award with Shri Dalveer Bhandari ji, Hon’ble Judge of the International Court of Justice who is also the Chief Guest at the event,” he wrote.
