The Whitefield police have detained a nurse of a private hospital for recording the bathroom videos of her colleagues and hostel staffs reportedly to hand it over to her male friend.
Based on a complaint filed by hostel warden of the hostel where the accused reportedly recorded the videos.
The detained nurse has been identified as Ashwini, resident of Gudiyatham.
Ashwini who stayed in ladies hostel close to the hospital and used to keep the mobile phone hidden in the bathroom so that she could record the videos.
The accused is from Gudiyatham in Tamilnadu and during interrogation confesses that she was doing this to handover the clips to her male friend.
The racket came to light when one of the hostel mate on December 8 noticed the mobile phone while she was having bath.
To her shock the victim found that the mobile phone was on recording while she noticed it and she also found many such videos in the gallery of her phone.
She immediately brought it to the notice of hostel warden who in turn conducted enquiry about the phone before filing a case with the whitefield police.
Based on the complaint, the police traced Ashwini who was since then missing.
The police are now trying to track down the male friend to ascertain the motive behind the racket. Whitefield police have Registered a case under Outraging the modesty and taken the accused identified as Ashwini into custody for further investigation.
