A 61 year old RBI officer was stabbed to death by his drug addict son over property dispute in Bharatinagar on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Amarnath, residing in RBI quarters.
According to the police Amarnath son identified as Manank, 27,a B Tech graduate and getting treatment for his drug abuse at rehab centre in Mumbai.
The accused returned three days ago and alleged his father for having illicit affair.The father and son used to fight over this after Manank demanded the share in the property.
A Heated arguments ensues between them in the melee Manank splashed boiling water on Amarnath and later stabbed him to death.
Neighbours rushed to the help and alerted the Bharathinagar police who rushed to the spot and arrested Manank for further investigation.
