Women from Jaipur arrested by KIAL police,stolen gold ornaments recovered:

The Northeast Division police of KIAL police arrested a 23 year old woman for stealing bag of another passenger from terminal or conveyor belt during check out on nov 13.

The accused has been identified as,Sakshi Rathod,23,year old from Jaipur.

Senior officer,told reporters,Based on the complaint,a special team was formed by Kempegowda International Airport station police inspector,Muthuraju T,the team swung into action under the able guidance of senior officers.

the team headed by inspector and staff visited Indigo Airline baggage belt no.04,Terminal Building,located at KIAL Airport.

The police team analyzed the CCTV footage to identify the accused and gathered information about her from the authorities.

The team took the case very seriously and the team were on search for the accused after getting vital clues a special team was sent to Jaipur in Rajasthan.

After lot of efforts from past two months the team finally nabbed the women from Jaipur in Rajasthan and brought her to Bengaluru for questioning.

During the course of investigation the accused confessed the crime and the accused has been identified as Sakshi Rathod,hailing from Jaipur she revealed that in the month of November she had come to meet her friend on part time work.

While checking out,she took the bag belonging to another passenger and checked out of airport.The bag contaning jewellery and cash worth RS. 2.5 lakh.

A detailed investigation by the team has revealed that after stealing the bag Sakshi took the cash spent and returned home with gold valuables by road.

She did not took the flight back to Jaipur to avoid getting notice of the security.

However the police after obtaning the CCTV footage identified her and with technical inputs tracked her down to her home town in Rajasthan Jaipur.

The police recovered gold jewels worth 50 grams from her possession and booked her under theft and further investigation is on.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,has appreciated,Addl CP East,S Murugan, DCP,Northeast,CK Baba,ACP,Devanahalli Sub-Division,Sreenivas,PI,Muthuraju T,and his team as,Yashwanth Pawar,Lokesh,and Sunitha for the exemplary work done by them who has successfully arrested the women and recovered stolen gold ornaments a suitable reward will be given to the team for the commendable job done by them he added.
