The North Division police of Soladevanahalli police on Tuesday arrested a 24 year old habitual offenders and recovered valuables and two wheelers worth Rs 3.85 lakh from him.
The accused has been identified as,Ganesh resident of Kamakshipalya and native of Salem.
Senior officer,told media persons,the accused was caught during random vehicle checks while he was riding a stolen bike without documents.
The police team suspected something fishy as he was behaving unusual way and dint had documents so they brought him to the station for questioning.
During interrogation the accused confessed the crime and said that he had committed as many as totally ten house breaks and bike thefts since November.
Verifying his background has revealed that Ganesh was a habitual offender arrested by Mahalakahmi Layout police last year in a bike theft case and remanded him to judicial custody.
However he got out on bail in November and continued to break houses and steal vehicles parked outside the houses with his arrest 4 cases has been solved and further investigation is on.
