Close to the heel of Ragini Dwivedi getting bail in drug case,the special NDPS court granted bail Aditya Alva and four others on Friday.
The other accused who obtained bail includes Viren Khanna,Ravishankar,Rahul Thonse and Aditya Agarwal.
The court earlier had also granted bail to Niyaz Mohamed,Vaibhav Jain and Vinay Kumar while A1 accused in the case,Shivprakash Chippi was also on the run and was never arrested but managed to get bail from Supreme Court.
With this many of the prime accused in the case are out on bail except few including Nigerian nationals arrested for supplying drugs to the accused to have parties.
Aditya alva who was on the run after his house was raided on September last year,was caught in January 13 from a resort in the outskirt of Chennai where he was hiding .
The prime accused in the case identified as Shivprakash Chippi who was also on the run was never arrested but managed to get bail from Supreme Court.
The CCB filed an objection to challenge the bail but in vain.
The CCB now have almost completed the investigation and would file chatgesheet soon, a police officer said.
