The North Division police of Rajagopalnagar police have arrested three persons on charges of murder who has murdered a 27 year old Newly married man.
A 27-year-old newly married man was hacked to death by his brother in law and uncle for marrying against their wishes.
The accused has been identified as Akash,19, Bhoomika’s brother,her uncle,Nanjesh,58.
The accused Nanjesh is a supplier in a hotel, Akash is a driver.
Chetan was hacked to death with a machete by the wife’s relatives.
Senior officer said,the accused visited the house of Chetan in Laggere on the pretext of wishing him on his birthday and escaped after killing him in front of his wife.
Chetan,was staying in a rented house in LG Ramanna extension in Laggere with her wife Bhumika.The deceased chetan was working as electrician by profession.
According to preliminary investigation by Rajagopalnagar police it was found that Chetan was in love with Bhumika and got married to her two months ago.
Bhoomika’s family members had opposed her relationship and opposed the marriage.The duo however got married and shifted to a rented house in Laggere and living since two months.
On Tuesday morning the accused visited the house of Chetan on the pretext of wishing him for his birthday.They got into an argument over the marriage and attacked chethan with a chopper killing him on the spot.
Bhumika who witnessed the incident cried for help promoting the accused to fled the spot.
Neighbours heard Bhumika cry and rushed to the house to find Chetan in the pool of blood.They alerted the police who rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post mortem.Based on Bhumika’s statement the police registered a case and arrested both the accused and further investigation is on.
