A 48 year old businessman was killed and his family escaped with injuries when the car they were travelling toppeled due to suspected over speeding or tyre burst, near Kodigehalli gate on NICE road on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar Pitaliya,aged about 48,resident of T Dasarahalli.
The injured Pushpa Jain,40,children Vinith,23 and varsha Jain,18 were injured minor and had a narrow escape and are getting treated at private hospital.
Senior officer said,today morning a businessman was on his way to Krishnagiri temple with his family members near Kodigehalli gate on nice road under Byadarahalli police station limits.
The car he was driving toppled killing the rider a businessman on the spot and the car was completely damaged due to the impact of the accident.
We suspect that Pawan kumar was over speeding and might have lost control which led to the accident.
However the Byadarahalli police are awaiting technical report from the experts to ascertain the cause of death.A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is on he added.
