A 30 year old motorcycle rider was killed on the spot when he lost control over the bike and rammed into median stone near a hotel in Domlur on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Jagadish Achari,a carpenter by profession and resident of Murugeshpalya on old airport road.
Preliminary investigation by the team has found that the deceased was returning home from work late in the night driving his motorcycle near Domlur area it is alleged that he lost control and hit median stone near the hotel for which he sustained severe head injuries due to the impact and killed on the spot.
The Halasuru traffic police inspector and staff rushed to the and shifted the body for postmortem and have taken up a case and are investigating further to ascertain the reason behind the accident said a senior officer.
