A 32 year old realtor was stabbed to death by armed men in Gurappanapalya on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Rafiq,native of Mysuru.
Senior officer,who visited the crime spot after inspecting the crime scene and collecting information about the incident told media persons that, the deceased Rafiq had come to Bengaluru on work and while he was walking on timber lane the Assailant who were armed with sharp weapons confronted him and stabbed him multiple times and escaped before he could react.
The profusely bleeding Rafiq died on the spot before passers by rushed to his help.
The Suddaguntepalya police inspector and his staff immediately rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area and shifted the body to Victoria hospital for post mortem.
Police are verifying the CCTV footage to identify the accused.
Police suspect that the murder could be due to family fued.However investigations are on to ascertain the motive and a case has been registered in Sudduguntepalya police station and further investigation is on.
