The West division police who are probing the former Corporator Rekha Kadiresh Murder case has arrested Kadiresh sister mala and her son Arul in connection with the murder of Rekha Kadiresh.
The arrested accused are identified as,Peter S/o Anthony,46 Yrs,Surya S/o Venkatesh,19 Yrs,Stephen S/o Jaipal,21 yrs,Ajay S/o Kumar,21 yrs,Purushottam S/o Subramani,22 yrs,Mala,aged about 50,and his son Arul aged about, 30 year old.
Senior officer,told media persons,the special team probing the Former Corporator Rekha Kadiresh Murder case as so far arrested totally seven persons including the prime accused who hatched and executed it by paying supari for it.
Investigation so far revealed that Mala and his son Arul are prime accused in the case who hatched and executed the plan.
Their names cropped after police grilled Peter,Surya,Stephen,Ajay and Purshoutham who were arrested soon after the murder.
Mala,Kadiresh sister is involved in many crimes and a rowdy sheeter was opened against her in cottonpet police station for her anti social activities and she was went to jail many times for her criminal offences she was arrested in Ganja case and a huge quantity of Ganja was seized from her house and was sent to Jail.
The accused–Stephen Jaipal (21),Ajay Kumar (21),and Purushotham (22)–provided support to the two men,Peter who stabbed the former Corporator from front side and Surya attacked her from backside,who stabbed the councillor to death outside her office in Cottonpet on June 24.
While Stephan and Ajay were assigned to provide security cover to the attackers,Purushotham was assigned to tampered with the CCTVs outside her office and redirected the lens so that the incident could not be caught on camera.
He was also assigned to keep watch and alert the hit team,said a senior police officer.All three accused were in the vicinity when the corporator was murdered.
However,despite their efforts,the brutal murder was caught on a CCTV in the area,based on which the police identified the accused.
Stephan and Ajai were also seen chasing away a person who attempted to come to Rekha Kadiresh’s rescue,said the officer. He added that more were involved,and special teams are tracking them down.
Investigation so far revealed that Rekha second wife of Kadiresh was growing politically strong and emerged as strong contender for the upcoming BBMP election from BJP.
Rekha ignored Mala and kadiresh family and distanced herself with kadiresh associates including peter,which eventually.
So Mala and his son Arul hatched the murder plan and executed it by giving supari to Senthil alias Captain who was involved in Kadiresh murder case.
As after killing Rekha Kadiresh she can easily make her daughter to contest upcoming BBMP elections so she has executed the plan and got killed Rekha Kadiresh and they hatched a plan a week before.
With this seven persons have been arrested so far and efforts are on to track down others involved in the murder and we will arrest soon all those who are involved in this sensational murder case.
A massive manhunt is on for the absconding accused and a fair probe is all and investigation is being done in all angles to ascertain the reason behind the murder and who all are involved in this conspiracy of murder he added.
On Friday morning, a day after the incident,the police arrested Peter (46) and Surya (19),the duo accused of stabbing the corporator.Teams tracked them to a wooded area in Sunkadakatte, and shot at their legs when they allegedly attempted to attack the police and flee.
The three accused as,Purshoutham,Ajay and Stephen are remanded to police custody for 14 days to further investigate the case.
