Fake FB account of Cooperation Minister created,PA Files complaint

The Personal Assistant of Cooperation Minister ST Somashekhar,on Monday filed a complaint with the central Division Cyber crime police station stating that someone has opened a fake FB account in the name of minister to defame him.

In his complaint,Chethan GS,stated that the unidentified person also put up a post on the fake account blaming the party and the minister to make it look like the minister is doing it .

The imposter has also put up a post seeking financial assistance from people along with a mobile number to transfer the money.

This is not only defaming the minister but gross misuse of his name to cheat people,Mr.Chethan said in his complaint.

Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under IT act and are trying to track down the accused.
