INDIAN ARMY ORGANIZES BLOOD DONATION CAMP
AT VADODARA MILITARY STATION

Gujarat: To commemorate the 75th year of Independence, Military Hospital (MH) under the aegis of Station HQs (Army), Vadodara in collaboration with Sir Sayajirao General (SSG) Hospital, Vadodara organized a ‘Blood Donation Camp’ at Military Station, Vadodara on 24 July 2021. State-of-the-art model blood bank at Sir Sayajirao General (SSG) Hospital facilitated successful conduct of the camp.

Military Hospital of Vadodara Military Station, in order to ensure adequate blood supply at the local SSG hospital, organized this Blood Donation Camp. This assistance provided to the state medical authorities will help them in a big way to deal with the shortage of blood and provide effective medical treatment to the emergency medical cases during COVID times. A total of 98 blood donors from Army units of Vadodara Military Station participated voluntarily and enthusiastically in the blood donation camp.

Indian Army has been at the forefront of all nation building activities including the fight against COVID-19 and is always committed to contribute to such noble causes. This noble gesture of Indian Army was well appreciated by the civil administration and staff of SSG Hospital.
