G D Goenka Publuc School topper student for senior secondary (CBSE), Jasmit Kaur Puri is on cloud nine. It is the time to celebrate the laurels and success which she acquired with continuous hard work and preservence. For a few moments, she felt tense, waiting anxiously for the link of cbse result from her school. Eventually, the beep of her cellphone spelt music to her ears. The SMS read: 96.4% average, with centum in Chemistry and Hindustani Vocal. For her proud parents, Mr. Rajdeep Singh Puri and Dr. Amit Kaur Puri, it was their Moment of Wow.
She scored (96.4%) in the State syllabus stream. Both believe that there is no substitute to hard work, and are totally focused on what they set out to achieve. While her parents, Mr. Rajdeep Singh Puri a businessman and Dr. AmitKaurPuri, Project Manger Apeejay at Stya University are thrilled, excited and proud.
She credits her success to her teachers, parents and hard work. She says, “I owe my success more than everything else to my parents who were more hardworking than me.”
She started preparing for the exam from the very first day of her in 12th standard. She performed her best in the first term and preparatory exams and put in extra hard efforts for the final prims exam. On an average she used to study for about 5 hours per day. Jasmit intends to join health sciences medical or paramedics and to help ailing across the world. Her future goals are to get selected in national entrance exam and pursue further studies from best university. She likes art and craft, singing and gardening. The secret of excelling in studies, according to her is being attentive in the classroom and having confidence in yourself. It’s all about focusing fully on what you want to do, about how use your intelligence.
According to her tuitions are only to supplement the regular classes.Tuitions are of tremendous use as they help you in many ways.
Scoring high marks is a part of a student’s life. We have to live with it and have confidence in ourselves.
