The CCB officials on Tuesday busted another illegal telephone exchange racket operating in Malleshwaram 8th cross on Tuesday.
Senior officer told media persons,based on a tip off,a team led by Inspector Anjumala Nayak , raided the office under the banner Rasal inbound influx private limited,situated in Mallappa tower , east park road and recovered the equipment including SIM boxes,routers and other electronic equipment.
The office was shut down since the accused had not paid the rent for a few months.The police called the owner and along with the witnesses recovered the equipment which had been packed in a box.
The company is owned by Mohammed Rasul and Mohammed Nishad,who rented the office premises since march this year and are running the racket to divert international calls to domestic calls .
However, for a few months they locked the office and did not even pay the rent.The CCB officials seized the equipment and filed a complaint with the North Division Cyber crime police against Rasul and Nishad and further investigation is on.
