A day after the accident,the Audugodi traffic police as part of the investigation analyzed CCTV footage to ascertain what actually happened hours before the accident.
The CCTV footage from the PG accomodation where two girls identified as Ishita and Bindu walked from their Paying Guest towards the main road for 200 meters before getting into a shop to make some purchase.
The duo later got into the car and passed Sony junction with Karuna who presumably picked them up ,a senior officer said .
The probe revealed that it was almost night curfew time the trio,police at the checkpoint inquireed with Karunaa Sagar and reportedly advised him to go home and drive safely.
However the police are now analyzing other CCTV footage to check about the remaining occupants of the car.
Meanwhile the body of Dr.Dhanusha,a dentist from Kerala,was handed over to her family.
A team of officials from the transport department visited the accident spot and inspected the area and also the car which was in the custody of the Audugodi police.

The officials are checking the reason for the accident.Though rash and negligent driving was cited by the traffic police,the transport officials conducted a detailed probe .
The officials are checking why the air bags did not operate and whether there was a human error (like a plastic bottle rolled and struck at the brake pedal)could have caused the accident.
The officials are also asking the car company technical team to inspect the car and give their report .
The traffic police probing further yet to get the medical reports of the deceased.
