Two unidentified persons were bludgeoned to death in a vacant site in Singena Agrahara in Hebbagodi police station limits on Wednesday.
The deceased were suspected to have had a liquor party with the assailants before they were killed.
Few empty liquor bottles were recovered from the scene of crime indicating that the assailants and the deceased knew each other and parties before the crime.
The murder came to light on Wednesday when passers-by noticed the bodies lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police.
The police have taken up a case of murder and efforts are on to identify the deceased.The police have taken photographs of the deceased and cross checked with the labourers and further investigation is on.
