A 41-year-old businessman robbed by three persons on Nice road near electronic city toll gate on Friday.
The victim,Santosh SN,was on his way for work and stopped the car few meter away from the toll gate to relieve himself.
As soon as he returned he saw a car carrying three men approached him.They got out and confronted Santosh accusing him of knocking down a two-wheeler.
While Santosh was trying to reason with them, they trio tried to push him inside the car in a bid to abduct.
Sensing trouble Santosh raised alarm for help for which the trio snatched a gold chain with pendent worth Rs 70,000 from his neck and sped away in the car.
Santosh took down the registration number of the car before approaching the police.
The Electronic city police have taken up a case of robbery and trying to track down the accused.
