Rowdy-sheeter hacked to death By Armed assailants inside Football Stadium in Bengaluru

A 27- year old Rowdy sheeter was hacked to death by group of armed assailants inside football stadium they chased him to refree room and killed him.

The deceased has been identified as,Aravind a Rowdy sheeter of Bharathinagar.

Tension was gripped inside the state football stadium for sometime on Sunday evening.when a group of armed men chased a habitual offender and hacked him to death inside the referee room where he went and locked himself to escape from the attack .

Senior officers with dog squad and finger print experts rushed to the spot to collect evidence from the crime scene.

After inspecting the spot senior officer said,The incident occurred at around 4 pm when Aravind , a rowdy sheeter in Bharathi Nagar was chased by armed assailant sending shock wave among the hundreds of people who were watching the ongoing football match.

Aravind jumped the stand gallery to escape and locked himself in one of the referee’s room,but the assailants broke open the door and hacked him to death before fleeing the spot .

Based on the information,the Ashoknagar police inspector and other senior officers rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe.

Aravind had come to play football match organised by a local group at the BBMP grounds opposite the KSFA stadium.He was also managing one of the team,he said .

We suspect that old rivalry could be the reason behind the brutal murder but the police are investigating to ascertain the exact reason.

The deceased had multiple cases pending against him and arrested under Goonda act.He was out on bail two months ago.

The Ashoknagar police have taken up a case of murder and formed two special teams to track down the assailants.

We have obtained CCTV footage to identify the accused and have some clues,he added.
