The Central division police of Ashoknagar police on Wednesday arrested a gang of four including Rowdy-Sheeter of KG Halli in a brutal murder of Aravinda inside the football stadium in shantinagar on September 12 .
The accused has been identified as,Stalin,Vijay, Arun and Jack.
Senior officer told reporters, special team under the supervision of DCP MN Anucheth,ACP, Cubbon park,sub-division,Yathiraj,PI, Mallesh S Bolletin and his team swung into action and after analysing the CCTV footage and collecting technical inputs the team nabbed four assailants for killing another rowdy sheeter Aravind.
The assailants armed with lethal weapons chased Aravind into the stadium and hacked him to death in the referee room before walking out .
Three special teams formed to track down the accused gathered the CCTV footage and analyzed over 100 footage to identify the accused .
Aravind, also a rowdy sheeter in Bharati Nagar police station assaulted the brother of a prime accused recently .
Enraged by this the prime accused along with three of his associates killed to avenge the assault and humiliation.
The Ashoknagar police police are further investigating to ascertain the involvement of others and efforts are on to secure them,a senior police officer, said.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP West,Soumendhu Mukherjee,DCP Central,MN Anucheth, ACP,Cubbon park sub-division,Yathiraj,PI,Mallesh S Bolletin,and his whole team who has successfully nabbed all the four with the meticulous investigation and for this a suitable reward will given to the team he added.
