Impact of reopening of schools in Delhi

With a relief to covid situation in Delhi and many other states, the respective government has decided to reopen schools and colleges after shut down of schools and colleges for more than a year. Due to shut down of educational institutions, all of it has affected studies and between everything shifting from offline to online, students suffered a lot while managing and compromising their school life. With vaccines circulating around and cases reducing to lower number, schools and colleges will reopen from 1 st September,2021. In view of decreasing COVID cases, schools are being slowly reopened in Delhi with complete precautions, so that the learning loss for students can be reduced. We have to bring back life on track and take care of studies as well as health of students. Government has suggested to follow all kind of precautions to prevent spread of covid disease. Our country has already faced worst of coronavirus pandemic and now it depends on us, the people of country to get through the situation and make our lives adaptable and not causing the third wave. People not following covid norms takes us one step closer to the third wave. Mandatory use of face masks, use of hand sanitizers and maintaining social distancing is a must for all students, teaching and non-teaching staffs. It has been long time for students being away from school, but their safety and health is more of a priority. Schools and colleges need to make sure about taking all kind of precautions and to put student’s safety first. Agenda of government in order to reopening of schools and colleges is to prevent from academic loss. Some parents find it to be a relief as students can go back to school and have a semblance of normalcy again.
