In the Shivajinagar ward 92 of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Hafizia school renovation work & ground breaking ceremony was kick-started with area MLA,Rizwan Arshad, Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta,Zonal commissioner,Manoz Jain,Joint commissioner Pallavi,engineers and other officials were present for the pooja at the spot.
Rizwan Arshad,MLA said,With BBMP Hafizia School renovation work and new building construction, the students in and around this area will be benefited.
This school has a 100-year-old history and Shivajinagar will have a good school with all facilities will come up.
The school building is being constructed by BBMP, and with a blueprint of international standards.
Education Design International institution has designed the school’s renovation plan, and they did not seek any payment for the design for the renovation of the work.
Chief Commissioner,Gaurav Gupta said,by retaining the old structure of the school, we are also building a new structure with a new design. This work will be completed within 9-12 months.
The Palike will be giving Rs.12 crore for this newly designed school.The tender has been called, the officials have been directed to give the work to the construction contractor and immediately execute the work.
In the same way,all BBMP schools are asked to develop in a new model and renovate the building.
There are Smart City work that is being taken up in the Shivajinagar ward and these works are being asked to complete as soon as possible by the BBMP Chief.
Along with this Russell Market front road work is also being asked to be completed soon. With this even the Namma Metro work is also being taken up and after all work is completed, the Shivajinagar ward will be attractive place in the city.
In the Vasanthnagar ward,a dialysis center has been set up by the BBMP and soon it will be open up to the public. Like this, there are many projects which will help the citizens in all aspects.
“12 crore expenditure work has been taken up”
The Hafizia school renovation work and the new building construction which is being taken up by the Education Design International institution who has designed the plan, is being taken up at the cost of Rs.12 crore.
This plan will be in international standards and will have two-floor building.In this school,there will be classrooms,library,laboratory, adminstrative rooms,and different halls and toilet rooms along with two entries to the school will be set up he added.
