The Southeast Cyber crime police have registered a case against an unknown person for hacking into the microsoft team account of a student to harass her .
The accused,using the account,made calls and sent messages to the teachers and her classmate to defame her.
Unable to bear harassment,when the family blocked the team account,the accused created a whatsapp group under the name hacker is back,adding the victim’s mobile number and started sending messages and calling to continue harassment.
Because of this the student was suffering mental harassment and also not being able to attend online classes .
Mr.Dayal said that the harassment started from July 23 till September 13 of this year.
The accused had even hacked into the accounts of family members and accessed their personal details to harass them, the complainant added.
Senior officer told media persons based on the complaint filed by Amit Dayal, resident of BTM Layout and father of the girl,the police have registered a case against the hacker charging him under section 66,(cyber bullying,trolling, harassment)and section 43 (tampering with or manipulating any computer,computer system,or computer network) of the IT act.
We suspect that someone is known to the victim and her family is behind this we are now trying to track down the accused through the IP address and will be nabbed soon he added.
