A 28 year old killed in road accident near Konanakunte metro station under Kumaraswamy layout traffic police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Arun Kumar, a resident of Electronic City was working in a private factory and he was living in a PG accommodation.
Senior officer,told reporters,Tension was gripped near Konanakunte Metro Station after a 28-year-old man came under a moving KSRTC bus on Monday morning.
Kumarswamy Layout traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted the body for the postmortem as initially it was suspected to be an accident case but the passers by who noticed the incident told police that he himself came under the bus and died.
The incident took place around 10am and Kumar was talking over a phone call for a while.Soon after the traffic signal turned green he came under the rear wheel of KSRTC bus and died.
The passers by who noticed the incident alerted the police and initially it was suspected that it was a case of accident.
The police also verified the details with his family members who told that he was under depression and was living separate from his family over a trivial dispute.
The body was shifted for postmortem and the case will be handed over to Konanakunte police for further investigations, the officer added.
