To expedite the vaccination process further in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits, in all wards,block and lane level vaccination centers will be set up from Monday.
For which all kinds of preparations have been taken up and every citizens will be ensured that they are taken vaccine,said,Special commissioner (Health),D Randeep.
To ensure vaccination is done for every citizens, 198 wards will have a block and lane vaccination centers and on how to set up this and how to execute the work has been discussed with all ward level health inspectors,primary health centres doctors,doctors,ANMs and ASHA workers a training program was organised in the city’s Townhall auditorium.
Addressing the training program Special Commissioner D Randeep said,in the 198 wards of the city,for Solid Waste Management implementation per 750 houses one block has 4000 such blocks and through the same block level and lane level vaccination centers to be set up and primary health centres doctors team can visit door-to-door houses in their block and lane and collect information on people who have received Vaccination, how many number of people are in the house and why there has been people in the family not taken the vaccine and such information will be collected.
These teams will create awareness and convince the citizens to take vaccine and bring them to the center to administer the vaccine,he said.

To ensure that first dose Vaccination to all citizens (100%) a new methodology has been adopted,the blocks used by the solid waste management team,the same block and lane system will be implemented to give vaccine to every citizens.
In the BBMP limits,77,19,506 people have at least taken 1 dose of vaccination (85%) and for the remaining to ensure vaccination is given,block and lane level centers will be set up and in next one month 95 percent completion of vaccination will be done.
