CCB filed complaint against online company for running gambling racket illegally

A special Inquiry wing of Central Crime Branch has filed a complaint against online company for running gambling racket .

Shivaprasad in his complaint said that he posing as player log on to the game to check its illegally before approaching the police to file complaint.

The silk rummy company placing advertisement openly luring the people to deposit,play win and redeem points, and also offering welcome and deposit bonus.

Once the player start playing with the minimum amount, the company would lure him to deposit Rs 10,000 luring him with various offers.

This amount to game of chance which is illegal but also violations of the Karnataka police amendment act, Shivaprasad said in his complaint.

Based on the complaint by Shivaprasad,CCB, Inspector,the cottonpet police on Friday filed a complaint against Silk rummy online company charging the owner under various sections of the Karnataka Police Act and further investigation is on.
