The Ramamurthy Nagar police have arrested a 28 year old habitual offender and recovered 338 grams of gold valuables and three bikes worth Rs.20 lakh from him.
The arrested accused has been identified as, Suhail Pasha,resident of Ghousia nagar in Mysore,
The police have solved nine criminal cases including six chain snatching and three house break thefts reported in and around the city.
Senior officer told media persons told Based on a series of robberies,the Ramamurthynagar police inspector and his crime staff kept a close watch and caught the accused after analyzing the technical details.
During investigation the accused confessed the crime and based on his statement the team recovered gold valuables and other property Worth Rs.20 lakhs from him.
A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that the accused would commute from Mysore to the city and move around in different bikes to identify his targets and rob their gold valuables.
After committing the offence the accused would park the bike at the parking lot in Majestic and return home only to come back after a few days .
The accused is a habitual offenders having over 32 cases in various stations across Bengaluru , Mysuru and other places, a senior police officer said.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East, S Murugan, DCP East,Dr SD Sharanappa,ACP,Ningappa B Sakkiri,PI,Melwin Francis,PSIs,as,Sridhar and Aravind Kumar,and crime staff as,Firoz Khan,Gangireddy,Dilip Kumar,Ashwin Kumar, Omkar,Sunil,Buddesab,Doddarangappa and others has been appreciated for the commendable job done by them in nabbing the notorious habitual offender a wanted criminal and a suitable reward will be given to the team for the meticulous investigation done by them he added.
