Byatarayanpura police cracked cab driver murder case arrested five member gang within 24 hours

The Byatarayanapura police have arrested a gang of five who killed a 43-year-old cab driver over a financial row on Friday.

The arrested accused has been identified as, Bhaskar,46,Srinivasa,33,Girish,30,Paramesh,37 and Manjunath,36.

Senior officer told reporters,a cab driver was hacked to death near nice road junction the assailants stabbed him before crushing his head with a boulder.

Senior officer,as, DCP West, Dr Sanjeev M Patil, ACP,Kodandarama,PI,Shankar Nayak G K with crime staff rushed to spot and cordoned off the area.

Special teams were formed to nab the assailants one team was busy in collecting information from the area another team was busy in analysing CCTV footages in and around and one team was busy in analysing call records of vicitm and after analysing the records the team got a vital clues and zeroed in on suspects.

During investigation it was found that the accused had financial row with the assailants so they have confronted Chandrashekhar on Hosakerehalli NICE road junction and stabbed him with a dagger before crushing his head with a boulder .

The accused confessed to the police that the deceased had borrowed money from them and refused to return.After repeated warnings to get back the money,they decided to kill him and even warned his family members recently the accused told the police with this the Byatarayanapura police have cracked the Murder case and arrested all five accused.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP West,Soumendhu Mukherjee,DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil,ACP, Kodandarama,PI,Shankar Nayak G K,PSI,Harish,and other crime staff who has done a exemplary and commendable job in nabbing the accused before fleeing from city a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
