On Saturday they inspected Pai Layout,several areas of which,especially 16th Cross, was badly affected by the recent spate of heavy rains.
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) limits of KR Puram Ward number 56, A Narayana pura,Pai layout,16th cross and in the surrounding lanes during the rains in the Kaggadasapura bund areas the water is flowing backwards in the Rajakaluve and is entering Pai layout 16 cross and surrounding areas.
Also, from the BWSSB’s sanitary pipelines work and the chambers the sewage water is rapidly gushing backwards into different layouts and causing damage, said Resident Welfare Association members to minister on his visit.
Likewise City Urban Development Minister,B.A Basavaraj and Chief commissioner today visited the spot and conducted inspection and suggested that permanent solution should be brought in to these problems.
They also instructed all the Chief engineers who were at the spot.Also,Due the Rajakaluve’s curve path, in the same kaluve the garbage and the dirt which is filled, to be cleaned and to ensure the water flows smoothly in the kaluve.
The officials also instructed the engineer’s to contact the Railway officers to obtain immediate permission to start the work.
Temporarily it has been instructed that the dirt and the waste from the Rajakaluve to be cleaned to ensure smooth flow of water and to implement BWSSB’S drain system pipeline.
Also it has been instructed to use drone cameras to conduct survey and complete the project report and submit the same he said.
