The East Division police probing the case of assault on hotel staff by Bitcoin scam accused Sriki alias Sri krishna and his friend a city based jeweller Vishnu Bhat, arrested for assaulting hotel staff in trouble again after the medical test confirmed that he was under the influence of drugs .
Following the report police booked him under NDPS act and taken him into custody to ascertain the source of drugs.
The duo produced before the magistrate on Monday, while Sriki remanded to judicial custody Vishnu bhat taken into police custody for further investigation.
The police are now questioning Bhat for the reason behind him to meet Srikrishna.
Srikrishna,a notorious hacker and a drug peddler was also found to be under the influence of drugs at the time of incident and even he has been booked under NDPS,too, a senior police officer, said.
We’ll continue probe Bhat as we recovered ganja from his house. As for Sriki, we have to question him about the source of ganja he consumed,” cops said.
