Bank officials of co-operative bank booked for allegedly cheating investor of Rs.1.8 crore

Another cooperative society situated in Vidyapeetha circle has been booked for allegedly cheating its depositors worth Rs.1.8 crore .

Raghunandan in his complaint said that he and his family members had deposited Rs.1.8 crore in the bank since october 2017,the officials refused to return his deposit.

When repeated requests and approaches failed to get back his deposits,he approached the police seeking help.

The police have now asked documents from the complainant to substantiate his claim based on which they would issue notice to bank staff to appear for questioning.

Senior officer told reporters,Based on the complaint filed by Raghunandan K, resident of Banashankari II Stage,the Hanumanth Nagar police have registered a case of cheating and criminal breach of trust against 21 persons including the President,Director,CEO and other staff members of Nagarathna Souharda credit Co-operative Limited, on Friday.
