Kerala transport officials in the dock for misbehaving with NAI journo

The Kerala transport officials in the dock for humiliating a senior journalist representing Newspapers Association of India during a random vehicle checks on December 1.

Dr.Thomas was on his way to attend a NAI Kerala zone meeting when Mr. Jishore Motor Vehicles Inspector of Kerala Road Transport,attached to Vandi periyar R.T.O Idukki District Kerala stopped his car in Kumily for random check.

He asked to Dr.Thomas why vehicle Insurance is lapsed and then he asked why BIS Ministry of Consume Affairs and Public Distribution sticker on car.

Dr Thomas is representing NAI,in consumer affairs ministry and tried to reason with the officials,but in vain.

Dr.Thomas said he is ready to pay fine for insurance lapse,Jishore with his four subordinates surrounded vehicle infront of public insulted the journalist and hurled abuses and passed comments to provoke the breach of peace.

The rude behaviour of the officials are un warranted and spoil the reputation of the kerala state.

The incident was taken seriously by NAI management who wrote to central government and kerala state government seeking necessary action against the erring official’s.

What ever it is but he was Abusing him and Insulted on road in front of many people Mr.Thomas is Reputed person we Newspaper Association of India condemn this act by erring officials and requesting the concerned authorities to initiate take action against the erring Inspector Jishore he should learn how to behave with members of general public and media in specific.As it should not happen to any others in future said NAI General Secretary Dr.Vipin Gaur.
