A 42-year-old woman was hacked to death in front of her minor son and a driver while she was returning home in her SUV on Hosa road in the busiest Electronic city on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as V Archana Reddy,a realtor and living with her two children in Bellandur after separating from her second husband .
Senior officer along with dog squad and finger print experts rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area,and after collecting stock of the situation he said,Archana was having frequent fights over a financial row .
The couple had even approached Jigani police who counseled the duo and pacified them.
On Monday evening Archana was returning home with her son and a driver when the assailant followed her for sometime before intercepting the car.
Before she could realize,the assailants dragged her out and attacked her with lethal weapons before fleeing the spot.
The driver with the help of others rushed the profusely bleeding Archana to a near-by hospital where she succumbed.
We suspect that the assailant could be the second husband Naveen and his friend Santosh killed her.A case has been registered at the Electronic City police station.
Three special teams have been formed to nab the assailants he added.
