A newly married woman found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in jigani on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as,Rani, resident of teachers colony moved to her in laws house in Rajapura after marrying Yeshwanth,a six months ago.
It was a love marriage and second marriage to Yeshwanth.
The family members of Rani alleged that both yeshwanth and his parents harassed Rani ever since she moved into their house.
They also alleged that they strangled her to death and hung her body to the ceiling of the first of the house.
The jigani police visited the house for spot inspections and awaiting post mortem reports for further investigation said a senior officer.
