Inter-state Drug racket busted three including woman tatoo artiste arrested,Recovered 12.9 kgs of Hashish Oil Worth Rs.7.7 Crore

The Southeast Division police of Hulimavu police on Monday busted a inter-state drug racket and arrested three persons including a woman tattoo artiste,recovered 12.9 kgs of Hashish oil worth Rs 7.7 crore from them.

The accused has been identified as,Vikram Magesh Kumar,23,Sijil Verghese,23,of Kottayam,and Vishnupriya,22,of Coimbatore.

Senior officer told media persons,our Hulimavu police station inspector received a credible information from their reliable inputs that in BTM layout 4th stage some person is suspected to selling Oil substance type drugs.

Based on tip off team headed by PI,Chandrakanth LT,swung into action and rushed to the spot and kept a close watch on the suspect and after getting confirmation inspector raided a car parking area situated in BTM layout 4th stage and arrested Vikram Magesh Kumar, 23,a Habitual offender while trying to sell Hashish oil to his customers.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and the team grilled him in their own police style of investigation and accused spilled the beans and Based on his information the police raided a rented house in Kuvenpu layout in Kothanur and arrested Sijil verghese,23,from Kottayam and his female friend Vishnupriya,22 from coimbatore.

A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that the Sijil and Vishnupriya had sourced the drugs from their contacts in Vishakapatnam and smuggled it into city to sell it to the local peddlers.

Considering the magnitude of the seizure the police suspect that the duo was part of the bigger drug network and further investigations are on and this is a first ever biggest drug haul of Hashish Oil has been seized by Bengaluru City police in the history of their raids.

In a similar case the team led by DCP Southeast,Dr Srinath Mahadev Joshi,under the supervision of ACP,Pavan N,under the leadership of PI, Chandrakanth LT and his team based on police investigation skills and other technology inputs nabbed two notorious habitual offenders involved in bike lifting cases.

The team grilled who confessed to the crime and spilled the beans based on their statement the team recovered 40 two wheelers of different company vehicles worth of Rs.30.45 lakhs.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP,East,A Subramanyeswara Rao,DCP Southeast,Dr Srinath Mahadev Joshi,ACP, Pavan N,PI,Chandrakanth LT and his crime team who has done a commendable and excellent work in nabbing all the trio and recovering huge quantity of Hashish oil and in other case the team recovered 40 stolen bikes from them and a special reward will be given to the whole team he added.
