The HAL police on Wednesday arrested a 38-year-old cab driver for strangulating his wife to death with a waist belt over a domestic row at his house in Kalappa layout on Tuesday.
The deceased Neelakanta,native of Raichur married to Nagamma, 37,17 years ago and the couple had two daughters aged 8 and 6.
Neelakanta is always away at work and Nagamma also used to work as domestic help.
However Neelakanta would suspect her fidelity and fight with her regularly.
On Tuesday too the couple had a fight and frustrated over the regular harassment Nagamma dared him to divorce him and go away.
Enraged by this Neelakanta pulled out a belt and strangled her to death on the spot .
The nieghbours hearing the commotion of the children rushed to the spot and alerted the police .
The HAL police rushed to the spot and arrested Neelakanta and further investigating.
