Five held including two murder accused nabbed after shootout in Pulakeshinagar

The Pulakeshinagar police on Wednesday morning opened fire at the two accused who are on the run after stabbing a 22-year-old youth to death over a trivial row on Tuesday night .

The accused has been identified as,Syed Moin and Adnan Khan,

Senior officer told media persons,A Rowdy-Sheeter of KG Halli has intercepted Sheikh Usman,and stabbed him to death on MM road.

Usman was employee with a furniture shop and returning home at around 11.30 pm when the accused along with three of their associates Arbaz,Shakeel and Mazhar confronted Usman and stabbed him to death before fleeing the spot .

The accused had enmity with Usman after he had taken a girl known to the accused to a movie .

The Hoysala police found Usman lying in a pool of blood on the road and rushed him to hospital where he succumbed .

The Pulakeshinagar police inspector and his team swung into action and arrested Arbaz, Mazhar and Shakeel based on the CCTV footage .

Based on their information the police track down Moin and Adnan who were fleeing on the scooter .

The police confronted them in Pulakeshinagar in the early hours but the duo in a bid to escape attacked the police.In retaliation the police opened fire at their legs to stop them from escape .

The duo was later taken to bowring hospital and the duo was said to be out of danger.

The police have registered a case of murder and attempt to murder and further investigating.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East,A Subramanyeswara Rao,DCP East,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled,and brave PSIs,as Ruman and Anand other staff has been appreciated for the commendable job done by them in nabbing the duo who were trying to flee the team played on their life to nab the accused a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
